Perfect for my router. After 20 years the original is worn out. Works perfectly! The original broke in two and didn't throw the beat out again. It does.

Make sure you choose the one that fits your particular model or series. For some odd reason, Bosch uses different sizes every time they release a new line.

Works great on my M12VC Hitachi router. Note that this requires a 24mm collet and a 23mm collet from Hitachi. Not a negative aspect, just something to keep in mind.

I was having a really hard time identifying the threads on it because I wanted to know if it would fit my non-Bosch router. The answer is that the nut thread is M20x1 and seems to fit my Craftsman 320-17542 perfectly (I haven't used it as I don't currently have a 1/4" router bit).

They don't work on the old BOSCH 1604, these are for 1604 A and up! These are original Bosch parts. This is not the fault of Amazon or sellers. If you have a Bosch 1604 router, Bosch no longer makes or supports collets. I found an after sales company through google that works.

Works great with Chicago Electric Power Tools model 95380 bench router with HP 1-3/4 model M1R-JL plunge router. Fits better than the collet that came with the router table. It holds the cutter firmly with very little torque on the wrench. The original collet requires considerably more until the cutter is securely clamped. I took a risk and won this time.
