BIT SIZES INCLUDE: 3/8", 1/2", 5/8", 3/4", 7/8", and 1” in size. Bit length is 6”. POWER GROOVE HEX SHANK: The hex shanks are reinforced to reduce the risk slipping in your drill / driver while in use. SPUR AND REAMER TIPS: When you’re drilling into a project, these bits provide 3 points of contact. This keeps a stronger grip on the wood for greater accuracy. CONTOURED PADDLE: Keep chips from clogging up your bits. The curved design throws chips to the side, keeping your workspace cleared. FULL CONE-THREADED TIP gives a smoother and faster cut than standard pointed tips.

The screw tip is a terrible idea to use with multiple materials.

If you just want to use them for construction purposes on 2x4 etc they are perfect. The teardrop on the right threw a 2x4 with ease. Anything else will splinter or bind if it's a harder material. On materials like mesquite or plexiglass, the tip of the drill will chip/break or just jam completely. I wish I could give it more stars because they are REALLY good, just not for anything other than general construction.

Great for drilling into finished or unfinished wood!

Very good quality and efficient drill bits at a great price. The drill bits are made from high quality durable metal and are great for light drilling in wood (I haven't tried more). The tip of the shovel is threaded, making it easier to start a hole. In addition, there are spurs on the top of the blade that appear to help create smoother, cleaner holes. In my experience, these drill bits are a great way to quickly and effortlessly drill holes in finished or unfinished wood.

Fast cutting durable bit set

This is my second set of these bits, they are AMAZING! The first set is still used almost every day in a major renovation, endlessly drilling holes for electrical wires. If you hold them in a tree they just go and go and the threaded tip really grabs the wood and pulls right through. They cut very quickly and are definitely best used in a drill rather than an impact driver. They're pretty strong, but if you drive the nail all the way in you'll have to rip out the file to set the points, which…
