That works fine. in Electrical

This is a largely rebranded version of the Sunpro 3 sensor set. I believe they are all made in the same factory in China. But they work well and the lettering on the instruments is nicer. The backlight on these things is terrible. They only light up from the side and it looks like you're looking at a dashboard from the 70's. I think they're a perfect match for an old water-cooled machine.

Two numbers. The same kit. Different prices.

I spent $9 more on a kit that had a different part number than a cheaper kit. #SP0F000054 VS. #8218. They are exactly the same. Shopping spree! Relatively easy to install, but used up the entire oil line, and the temp line barely made it to install. (Buick 1970 large body.) The oil level gauge twitches and may stick. Went straight to Bosch and they sent me a new oil pressure sensor.

So far so good, good fit for gauge kits

Installation was pretty easy and they offer a great range of connectors. The 5/8" NPT for the water temp was a nice surprise. It was either this set from Bosch or a similar set from AutoMeter which is quite well regarded in the automotive community so I hope I made the right choice time will tell but sensors still seem to be working great so far, if those mechanical sensors are proving to be a problem I'll probably switch to more expensive electrical sensors.

Cons
  • Cable is shorter than other kits

Looks good. Defective for gauge sets

Most of this product looks high quality and I know Bosch is a good brand. When installing the temperature sensor, I followed the instructions for the T and installed the adapter in the motor before installing the sensor myself. After tightening it with hand tools, the adapter collapsed at the bottom just below the hex, rendering my car uncontrollable until I figured out how to remove it. Very upset. Update: Used a large piece of JB weld around the temp sensor attached to the water jacket. Now…

great little gauges

I needed some gauges for my old mustang and found them. They have pretty good reviews and I know the name so I decided to give them a try. They come with all the necessary hardware, making installation easy. It took about 3 hours and I had to buy a custom oil gauge because I didn't have a 1" deep hex well. Update the water temp sensor, you've found the problem. My regular colored LED bulbs were too long and left the needle on the temp gauge wander up, so if you're using bulbs that are longer…
