Excellent for cutting large vent holes in new build metal water heater doors. Most other blades are too short and require trimming on both sides.

I cut much thicker metal than they are rated for. I cut off rusty exhaust pipe bolts. I did cut out all three four bobby pins, but that's okay: I couldn't be happier.

I sculpt steel and use a jigsaw (among other tools) to cut and dress thinner steel. The combination of these Bosch saw blades and my Bosch JS470E jigsaw creates a versatile and reliable command for more complex cuts.

Unbelievable! I had to cut through a 1/2" solid steel shaft that was 2 1/2" below the cut face. The 5" blade from Bosch did it managed too easy. I was willing to sweat a lot and exert myself but it just wasn't necessary. More time to pitch than to climb. A wish come true.

I needed to dismantle a large 1/8" steel shipping cage and these blades did a great job. As with any tool when working with steel, don't expect them to last very long: you'll likely need one or two for every job. To prolong the service life, it is best to store the tools in a cool place, for example by spraying them with a light cutting oil. But this leads to confusion.

High-quality Bosch saw blades for metal cutting. I expect nothing less from Bosch. I have had a Bosch jigsaw for over 10 years and it still works perfectly. Blades cut wood like butter, cut aluminum and measure with minimal effort. This is one of my best investment grade purchases that will last a long time for both the jigsaw and the blades.
