🎧 Bose Soundbar Universal Remote Control for Soundbar 500 & 700: Optimize Your Audio Experience Review

I like that you minimize your uninstall requirements to just one. But I don't like that a VERY vague guide was included and online. The trick is to download the BOSE MUSIC app to connect to the soundbar. There's no way around it.

For us, this remote control is completely useless without instructions. It wasn't possible to get the entire remote to light up and some of the icons that did light up and there were 6 of them at the top of the remote just blinked and went out for a few seconds. Extremely poor design and very expensive for what you get.

Remote control works great. You no longer need to use 3 different remote controls to control your TV. You must use the Bose app on your phone to set up some features. The only thing missing is a subtitles button. You have to go to some menus to turn this feature on and off. So I just use my Verizon remote for that. It has a button.

I lost the original remote control for my sound card and was hoping that it would be a replacement. Unfortunately I needed the original remote to connect this remote to the soundbar. So I never needed it. This isn't an appeal against the remote, but against Bose for creating such a confusing system. And to almost make you buy a whole new system if you lose your original remote.

DO NOT BUY THIS REMOTE CONTROL! Everyone is talking about how terrible the setup is and don't get me wrong, the setup is impossible and only works with the soundbar and maybe some features on some TVs. What amazes me is that I haven't read any of the reviews about how insanely large and awkward to use this remote control is.
