This marine radio is a complete waste of money. Thanks to my knowledge gained in practice with electronics, I can confidently say that this radio is not up to the mark. The sound quality of the speakers is poor and the knobs and buttons are difficult to operate. However, the only upside is that it is waterproof and can weather the harsh marine environment. Not worth the investment for someone who takes their electronics seriously.

Hinge broke on second ride; We stumbled into choppy water, the lid bounced and then came off. I contacted Boss Audio and they told me to contact the seller within 30 days of purchase. It just wasn't worth worrying about shipping costs and delays at that moment. I do not recommend this product - in this case low price = low quality

I have no idea what this radio is for. I bought this with the intention of installing it in my RV via an aftermarket single din radio. I didn't care about the water resistance, it was to keep my 2 year old daughter from pushing the buttons on the radio as the radio in my motorhome is set very low from the factory. I have something similar on my bike so I figured it would work fine. 1 The United States is unnecessarily large. 2 I assumed the space between the two inner tabs would be large enough
