It unzips too easily. The leather is beautiful and looks like it will last forever. I bought this on purpose because like my previous belt it has two hooks. The difference is that my belt buckle has balls on the ends of the hooks that hold the belt. They only have two small sharp hooks. This belt is getting looser and looser. Didn't even touch anything. It's like you're just moving.

The belt keeps getting untied. I adjusted the tines as suggested in other reviews and as you can see in the photos; One of the black tips came off. I like that the band is thicker than other brands and is expected to last longer. I bought it on September 21st. Don't waste money. The cheaper brand actually stays strapped on and lasts more than 6 months.

We bought it for my son who works as an apprentice mechanic in a car dealership. He needed a belt without a buckle and we got him one for Christmas. He likes it for form and function as well as for protecting the vehicles he works on!

I have a problem keeping it buttoned up. The two prongs on the buckle are flat and too straight. Every time I'm in an uncomfortable position, it comes loose. When I pull up my pants or straighten them, they unbutton. Now it's a nice piece of thick natural leather, but it has serious problems with the buckle.

A MUST when working on any surface that scratches easily. With daily use, this belt will easily last 5+ years. Well made "mechanical" belt. Very convenient, the belt buckle will not get pinched when sitting, squatting or bending over.

Not only does this amazing belt protect what you're working on/bend over, it's super comfortable and stays secure all day long.

Bought thinking this belt would fix what other mechanical belts had damaged, only one tooth holding it together but I was wrong. With no buckle on the inner loop to keep it on my body, it would come loose if I bent over, panted too hard, or didn't move at all. This made it completely useless because I'm an active guy and need the belt to stay attached while I'm in the office or working on a truck. Came back with a full refund looking for a belt with two teeth and a buckle.

Great belt for the price. Seems a bit flimsy, I'm an automotive technician, the last 2 belts were Cornwell No Scratch Belts for about 3 years on the PC. This one I think only time will tell if it will stand the test of time.

i am a fireman I bought this belt to try out a belt without a buckle, but it didn't fit me. It will exit the second tab. Doesn't stay hooked!

I love this belt. I'm fat and I can't wear a buckled belt because it would cut into my stomach. Not this belt. I was wearing a Velcro ambulance belt that had just worn out. I think I'll order another one for my evening wear.

I ordered a medium sized belt and my jeans are a 32 waist and a 30 length and fit the last two holes with just enough tension to hold my pants up. I may have ordered a size up, but overall it fits great. The thickness and quality are amazing and well worth the money for a great work belt.

Once I put the belt on and was relieved that both hooks stayed in the holes. The belt isn't very thick so it may warp or stretch after a while, but this isn't the sort of 2-layer BS that falls apart. I plan to use it for my automotive related work so I like the price and lightness of the belt. The belt runs a bit small. My waist is about 54, I bought the XXL and it ONLY fits the last two holes.

Love the design of this belt, I have had several other mechanical belts from different manufacturers and none of them lasted very long. Very well constructed, beautiful and durable, this Boston leather belt looks and fits well.

Having just received it I can't comment on durability but it feels like a quality piece of leather with a pretty good finish and the double hook closure feels very secure.

I wouldn't stay hooked, the hooks holding it together are very short, not the best design at all. Very dissatisfied with this product. inability to use a belt. I will never buy this brand again.

So I work in a secure environment where we have to clean the metal detector every time we enter the premises. So, I have such a belt, black (another brand, Vogle) and it works fine. I decided to buy a brown belt to match my other shoes and thought it looked good. But that won't put out the metal detector. The hook system isn't as good as a hook for example. There are 2 corner bars that go down. This creates two problems: the strap can catch and loosen, and the front of the end of the buckle tends to stick out a half inch from the rest of the strap because it's not pulled back by the strap tension. I hope as the adjustment holes wear out the front hook will get enough tension to stay level. The leather quality is ok, but not outstanding. I did not buy this belt for its intended purpose, as a belt for a mechanic. I have severe allergic reactions to metal and it is very difficult to find a belt buckle that will not aggravate my allergies. VERY difficult so I decided to find a belt without a buckle, problem solved!. It's a very good belt and it holds up securely without worrying about my allergies. .I would definitely buy again!
