But I found a good solution. I tried oiling with a brush. Spreads well, not a lot of oil. Unfortunately, the brush has a rounded tip. If you stand the bottle upright, the oil left on the brush will run down the bottle. I'll send it back and keep looking.

I was delighted to receive these bottles today but when I opened the box these bottles looked smaller than 16 oz. When I measured the bottle by pouring water from a measuring cup, it was half the size advertised - just 8 ounces! Besides, the height is only 5.5 inches. This is false advertising and very annoying.

I've had several oil holders and mine was as great as this one. I like how narrow the nose is. It will not leak as long as the lid is on. I also really like the screw on the lid. Less mess and accidents. I bought 2 of these. One for olive oil and one for canola oil. Works great for both. I use a pizza baking brush and it comes out slowly. Glass cleans great! I would buy again.

We received this small bottle because many of the oil bottles that came with our oil were bulky and/or dirty. We often buy large quantities from member stores and because of their size they are difficult to manage and more often than we would like we fill in more oil than we need.
