It is important to check chain slack.

This thing is too cool. First you adjust the chain as usual. Once adjusted, the chain slack can be checked at any time with this device, no ruler or tape measure!

The best chain tool.

After my chains were loosened with the Motion Pro Slack Checker, the BPS was calibrated. When using a slack tester, check the tightest section of the chain, otherwise the chain will break.

Definitely a great tool if you're driving.

This is a quality, compact tool. I gave it a try and it didn't take long to calibrate with simple instructions. The packaging was great and the storage pouch and keychain were a nice touch. I would definitely recommend this distance adjuster to anyone who drives!

Works well, good quality product.

This chain tension/slack adjustment tool is a sophisticated piece of equipment, simple, easy to use and made of quality materials. The supplied open-end and torx wrenches are also made of high-quality materials. This takes the guesswork out of fitting. I recommend this product.

Don't think it works.

It looks like the tool only works if your chain is ridiculously loose or tight, not in between. The chain sag on my 08 R6 is 30-45mm. My chain was 40mm long when I calibrated it. I tried my buddy's chain and it was 36mm long. I used the tool and the tool was in the same place. Now my chain is 43mm long and the tool still shows the same spot as last time. I think this only works if your chain sag is less than 10mm or more🤷‍♂️.

Checking chain slack only takes a few seconds!

I know a lot of people say this tool is not needed, but I disagree. I measured chain sag as usual and then applied and calibrated this tool. All I have to do now when I clean and lube my chain is tighten this to see if I'm up to spec. If not, adjust and center on the calibration mark. Another measurement is not required. If you don't trust a tool, double check with a tape measure to make sure it's working properly. I cleaned and oiled my chain yesterday and put this on to see if I need to…
