Terrible. The nail is not as long as in the picture. When we received the package, one of the nails was completely torn off. We tried another one and it just split the wooden frame. I was not allowed to upload the picture.

I used to get my husband to install curtain rod brackets because it seemed so complicated. No longer! They require no measurement or alignment. A few simple taps of a hammer and voila, the curtains are drawn and hung. The only downside is that there has to be a molding or molding around the window, otherwise there is nothing to attach them to.

I liked that the bracket easily attaches to the window frame. The downside was that my curtains were too short with the bracket right on the frame and we had to buy curtains over 70 inches wide. The other problem was the weight. I have a double window in my bedroom and the weight of the curtains pulled out the faucet bracket and a piece of wood frame. These brackets are designed for very light curtains.

I was wary after reading the reviews but bought it anyway. They worked great. Crashed into the window trim. It supported a medium-weight glass-topped cornice. The only downside was that the "silver" looked more like an aluminum color. So we painted it white because that's the color of the window trim. I would recommend them and will buy more as we remove old cornices.

The brackets fit easily into the top of the wooden window frame but I felt they needed better fixing so I used a screw (not included) that went through a hole in the metal seemed to be there for that purpose. The brackets aren't as strong as the brackets in the rest of my house, but they hold the curtains well. Keep in mind that your curtains may need to be trimmed as the brackets need to hang at the top of the panel and not over how you might otherwise hang them. Mine did.
