These come in handy when you label a lot in the panel, sometimes the magnet can't bear the weight and the label printer slides off the door I hang it on, you have to be very careful when You hang the Brady to make sure it stays in place, and even then it sometimes still moves. I wish the magnet was bigger and stronger to hold it in place. The Brady Label Printer is a heavy and expensive piece of equipment, so it's a little annoying when it slips and falls to the ground.

I bought a Brady printer based on numerous recommendations from colleagues. One of the most admired features was the magnetic accessory. When working on a construction site there is not always a place for a labeller, but there is usually something metallic, e.g. a door frame, network rack, pipe, beam, etc. With a magnetic accessory, I have no problem keeping the printer inside. I bought this so I can hang the printer on the inside of steel cabinet doors within reach while I do electrical work inside the cabinet. The last time I pulled the printer out of the door to use it, the magnetic accessory was attached to the door. What happened was that the threaded metal inserts attached to the printer's plastic back, to which this accessory attaches, ripped completely out of the printer's plastic casing due to the force required to break the magnetic handle on the steel door.
