Enhanced TIKI Brand Clean Burn BiteFighter Mosquito Repellent Torch Fuel, 64 Ounces Review

I have never used a tiki torch and I accepted the suggestion of using vegetable oil as a cheap alternative. It blew my fuse in 10 minutes and I knew I needed good quality burner fuel. This torch doesn't smell very fast, but it burns clean. There is no smoke and not only does it repel insects, it also smells nice in my garden.

This is a great material when you need to burn citronella oil in a small space where the lamp/torch is in close proximity to people and you don't need plumes of black smoke. It costs more than regular citronella oil but burns much cleaner. I use Clean Burn oil when I'm out on my small patio and don't want black smoke. I use cheaper regular citronella when I'm in the backyard and have more space, and messy burning oil and black smoke aren't that much of a problem.

I will never use this formula again. I tried everything to figure out why I couldn't light my new tiki torches. I even bought new wicks. I finally sanitized my new Tiki Torches and bought the regular Biggtfighter formula from the same brand and they ignite instantly and burn consistently. As you can see, this formula is too light not to burn for 1 minute. I thought I would go insane trying to figure out if it was a torch or a wish. I emptied them and used the same wick. I have a nice flame now

PROS: Keeps bugs away! My daughter is a mosquito magnet and this stuff has allowed her to stay outside without getting bitten (a real miracle in Florida!). Pouring is easy if you're not in a hurry, the spout is well thought out. CONS: It burns faster than any other lamp/lantern oil I've ever used. Okay. I bought this because I really wanted to be able to just go out in my garden in the morning/evening without being eaten alive by mosquitoes. My house borders on a wooded area. Conclusion: A clean burn does not burn as badly as a normal burn. I am ONLY talking about the Tiki Bitefighter brand burner fuel versions as I have not tried any fuels other than the Bitefighter. I have 8 Tiki Torches half filled with regular Bitefighter and half filled with Clean Burn Bitefighter.
