Ideal for beards. I had no problem using it even on very short facial hair. The large nozzle allows you to control the length of your beard and the dial is very easy to use. The miniature foil head that allows you to shave the skin is of very poor quality and use compared to the rest of the packaging. Barely works, would probably at least irritate you or stab you with a razor, I would just use the razor provided. Overall a good product nonetheless.

Trimmer works well. Height adjustment is a matter of guesswork, but once you've twisted your beard a few times, you'll finally get it right. My main issue with this Braun trimmer and the reason I returned to Revain to look for another from a different brand is that the "beard combs" as they call them don't fit well. I gave this product 1 star for two reasons. First he died after 3 months. It started smoking and smelled like a burned engine. Second, I contacted Revain support who referred me to Braun (P&G). These idiots are telling me to take a picture of the razor, the box with the product code, and keep the razor for two weeks until they decide to redeem the warranty. To kid! A reputable company will back their product and replace defective items under warranty. I will not buy another Braun product again.

I used this to trim my beard, side and back hair. It's very easy to control what length you want. Contains two guards; one to trim the beard and one to trim the hair. With both protectors you can choose from 39 different lengths and a small step in between. The battery lasts about an hour of continuous use. The trimmer cuts very precisely and does not pull on the hair.

Excellent trimmer. I particularly like the rotary wheel adjustment. But what I like most is the Braun quality. I've tried two different cheap brands of dial adjusters that look the same.
