My cat hates it, of course, but it made it much easier to clip her nails and put the nail covers on (she's always indoors).The true test will be when she randomly smells awful again (I don't understand how she's doing it), and I have to give her a bath. I almost always end up having to go to the hospital for cat bite treatment after bathing her, but good god, she smells awful sometimes, and I'll take cat bites over that smell any day. But this should help!

Cat absolutely hates it. however it’s proven completely effective in avoiding being bitten when handling an aggressive cat.

Awesome find for grooming my aggressive cat. I sprayed a little cat pheromones on it about 6 hrs before using it. She was calm & comfortable and able to see me. No ER bills for cat bite infections anymore!

This works great. It is very easy to put on and very comfortable for the cat. Made of a stretchy nylon net that makes it easy to breathe. Calms them down when the are getting their nails trimmed - with or without a grooming bag.

I have a cat who acts like the world is ending whenever I have to brush her or trim her nails. The only thing she despises more is this muzzle, but it allows me to get the job done safely. I found this to be much for effective than a hard shell/ bubble muzzle.

I have to give my senior cat subQ fluids now, which makes her want to bit me. She doesn't like the mask, of course, but I know she can breathe and see with it on and it makes her treatment something I can do safely. Very happy with product.

My cat is very sweet but becomes aggressive when I try to groom her. She has long hair and gives herself mats and it's hard for me to get them out because she attacks me. I use this as well as some gabapentin from the vet to groom her periodically and it works great. She can slightly bite me through the muzzle but it seems to make her a little more calm covering her eyes and I don't get bitten nearly as much.

Purchased this to groom cats. Helps with some. Surprisingly, worked great for a pug nosed dog who has been notoriously difficult for previous groomers. He is small & his pug nose didn't fit the dog muzzles we had, so we used the cat muzzle. He couldn't bite, & his eyes were covered, so he calmed.

When I actually had this in my hands, I realized they would terrify my good-tempered cats (I actually bought 2, one of each cat). Not a good way to keep them calm, IMO. I returned immediately.

I bought the large size for my 13 lbs cat. It slipped on very easy, and my cat who would normally be howling, biting, and scratching settled down immediately. I clipped his nails fast and easy. Great product. Highly recommended.

There are always two of us when we cut my cats nails. One to hold her firmly while the other does the cutting. This time we used the mask and it went so much easier. It seemed to calm her and I did not have to use a lot of strength to hold her down. I am so glad I made this purchase and was able to avoid getting bitten by my cat. Cat bites can be very serious.

We have sphynx cats and purchased the product to help with mom not over grooming her kittens. Our female is 8lbs and it is not a good fit for her. However I do think this product would be good on a fur baby.

We rescued a 3 year old surrendered cat. He showed us right away no one was touching his paws. His claws were super long and you could hear them clicking on the kitchen linoleum. Bought this for my 3 month old kitten who loves to bite when getting his nails trimmed. It’s a little big but overall works well. He doesn’t cry or anything with it on, & he can see out of the mesh holes, very breathable. 10/10

FIV kitty and non-FIV kitty introduction went poorly. I thought to see if a muzzle would help. No, the muzzle didn't. FIV kitty took it off in under 15 seconds. Neat idea, but possibly most kitties just are not built for muzzles. Returning!

This cat muzzle is effective in calming our restless cat. But I can tell it becomes uncomfortable for him after a few minutes. The main reason is because the sides don't completely accommodate his ears. The bottom (and very sensitive part) of his ears are crunched down against his head because there's not enough of a allowance in the muzzle for them. The breathing hole seems to be sufficient and he will wear it w/o freaking out for a few minutes, but that's it.

When our cat starts acting up and biting us he gets this. He can still see and breath fine. He runs with it. It looks funny and has an odd looking fit but it works.

This did not work at all for an energetic three month old kitten with excessive and demanding high pitched meowing. It did not reduce the meowing except for a couple seconds. He tried to remove the muzzle, on all three attempts to see if he would tolerate it. It was not a good thing to use on him, so I stopped. If I had needed this for biting, I would not use it either; I would just use the e-cone that I have from his neuter surgery.

I have a mainecoon kitten who gets seriously violent when it comes to grooming. This little mask calms him right down. I am so thankful because this has been a huge help. HIGHLY HIGHLY HIGHLY recommend this product
