I've only had this bottle for a day so I can't give a full and honest review. However, many people have/had problems with water leakage. I had the same issue, but I figured it out: if you unscrew the lid with the straw/filter attached, you can look under the top and see a small lock/unlock symbol (see image for reference). There were mixed reviews for this Brita insulated steel water bottle, so I bought this (with steel insulation) AND original Brita BPA free plastic water bottle. I like them both! Plastic for use at home and elsewhere when it's not hot, and steel for insulating properties.
