Enhanced Broan NuTone CT150B Central Attachment Combination Review

Shown is an old floor/carpet brush with a lever to change the floor/carpet brushes. I've had it for 14 years and the lever is worn out. The brushes don't stay on the floor. I bought this black replacement with hesitation as reviews were mixed. That works great. It glides much more smoothly over carpet, tiles and laminate than the old original. I am very pleasantly surprised.

My somewhat disappointing canister vacuum has completely changed. Handles, glides and cleans like a traditional vacuum. Can clean rooms in 1/4 the time as before. It's important to note that I'm not using it with the intended central vacuum system, my vacuum doesn't have a button attachment feature, but luckily it sticks and stays firmly in place with a friction fit, just like the standard attachments that come with it.

So from my pup's point of view it's definitely more than five stars.

My central vacuum cleaner started with this parquet nozzle. After about two years it broke where it snapped onto the long pole (not sure if all the part names are correct but I hope you get the point). I bought another Broan NuTone floorhead from a local store but didn't think I'd like it as much as the one I had so I bought it so I could have both. This one is lighter and a little smaller than the other one I have but makes vacuuming easier for my kids.

would be 5 stars- It works well and does what it's supposed to. The problem is that the original floor tool had a lower profile and could get under furniture. The replacement has a higher profile and is limited to what fits underneath. For those who had the original with the silver top and the front wheels fell apart. (the only thing wrong with that) I was looking for replacement front wheels and couldn't find them. So I went to Lowe's and bought 2 rubber bushings to replace the broken wheels…

So there is an issue that the consumer should be aware of. This is not a reliable car. It's actually a real treat. View the image with increased screen brightness. You will notice a cylindrical part on the back where the vacuum neck attaches. This part rotates 180 degrees for mobility. Good. Now look at the blocky piece of plastic between the cylindrical part and the shiny black plastic center part. This is the part that pivots up and down for better suction when you push and pull. He keeps his
