Absolutely excellent! This optional bottom tray exceeded my expectations in all areas including but not limited to quality, price, size, performance, operation, ease of use and installation.

Easy install, works. Here are my reservations. (1) Loud rattling when using bottom tray. (2) It doesn't seem possible to change the settings so that the "auto select" pulls paper from the bottom tray, which is obviously what you want since it's a larger tray. This is problematic in several situations I have when printing. TAAAAAAA annoying having to manually tell the printer to pull from the second tray. no problem, works great. I would give 5 stars if there was a castle. We sometimes move the printer and have to remember to lift or move this tray separately. It would be much better if this tray stayed attached to the printer.

Easy to install. Just make sure you physically install it with the printer turned off. When you lift the printer, just put it on it and align the pins (very easy). The printer and your computer do not recognize the new hardware until you turn the device off and on again.

Installs in 10 seconds and works straight away. We've been using it for 4-5 months now with no complaints or complaints. Well done brother!

This higher capacity tray works as advertised. It was easy to install - just mount the printer on it and use the included setup instructions to allocate Tray 2. I installed this tray in a Brother MFC-L8850CDW color laser printer that was previously purchased by a customer. The tray is very large and I was impressed that it can handle legal sized paper without having to 'extend' the tray to handle an additional 3 inches of paper. The installation is very easy. The trick is to make sure you put the back left corner of the printer on top of the drawer so the connector fits in.
