Nice but has one flaw

Item fit great, nice and soft and easy to clean, but the stitching is weak. If you have a dog over 100 lbs, expect the stitching to fail at the seams and it falls apart.

Pros
  • Didn’t like the strap that goes around the back, doesn’t really keep back in place.
Cons
  • These are not waterproof. The tiniest amount of liquid goes right through to my couch.

Not good for big dogs.

I have 2 bull mastiffs who share a sofa. Got this to help prolong the life of the upholstery. Would be perfect if the strap that is supposed to hold it in place worked at all. Would probably be great for small dogs. Definitely waterproof, washes and dries easily. Would be perfect if it didn't slide off as soon as the dogs put their weight on the sofa. Going to try to add a strip of heavy duty velcro across the back and arms to see if that will help. For now I just have to keep straightening it…

Stays in place! - my new review

This cover looks nice and stays where it should due to the backing and the strap. I have it on a cloth sofa. I am not sure how well it would stay in place if your sofa is leather, but I bet it would stay in place. It is waterproof and does well in the wash. This is the best pet cover I’ve ever owned.

I works better than many!

This is a "Pleather" recliner for the garage/laundry room/man cave/dog house.It usually stays in place.which is a minor miracle in this house! LOL! It has worked better than most, and I will order in different colors!

very soft and comfortable, looks great, minor adjusting needed

I liked this sofa cover so much I ended up ordering THREE!. Needs to be adjusted gently. One of the pieces had a split seam the first time we were putting it on and adjusting it. I mended it and it works fine. We know now to be careful.

I am constantly straightening this cover. It will not stay put, but I don't know of a cover that does. It is easy to clean, though.

Straps not long enough.

Straps not long enough to go around the back of the chair. They need to be at least 4 inches longer. They are hard to put on and take off. Stretched too far.

Not for large dogs. Would not buy again

I had this cover for less than a month and it already has a hole in it and my dogs don’t chew on things. Plus the strap on the back broke the 2nd week. It slides off and does not stay well even when the strap was still attached.

Good at its intended purpose.

The only thing I don't like about it, is that the strap is detachable on both sides, and it does fall off sometimes. I have a velvet couch that is a dust and lint magnet, so I keep this over it most of the time. My cat threw up on it, and it came right off.
