Works great with brass but can weigh down fine hair.

Well I have thick curly hair that I religiously straighten. It's also a processed brown to which I sometimes add purple. I love this shampoo as it evens out my color and makes my purple last longer. I also love it because it weighs your hair down after a while unless you switch it up regularly and brush it with something else. For me it was amazing - during a horribly wet summer my hair was (and was) so well cared for - straight and not frizzy, even on the outside. But that's because it was…

Keeps brown - keeps red away!

Great shampoo and conditioner. Reviews were mixed so I bought the travel size. Now I order big bottles. I dye my hair brown. I like deep, cool browns. I tried all the colors and after a few weeks my hair turned red as the color faded. And yes, I mix my brown with ash. My hair is very healthy so I only have to wash it 2-3 times a week. I leave the shampoo on for 5 minutes and the conditioner for 5 minutes. It makes my hair so clean and soft and prevents that red color that I hate. It's a little…

Works to neutralize orange

I've tried Joico Blue Shampoo and this Redkin version neutralizes orange undertones better. As a level 2 brunette, I lift my hair to level 6 and this is the "orange" main zone. But when I use the blue and purple toner I get a dark blonde/light brown shade that I like. But this is travel size. A 2 ounce bottle for $7.99? It costs no more than $1.99 for 2 ounces. If you are lucky you will get 4 shampoos.

I like hair care shampoos

I bought a travel size along with the shampoo. I have bleached blonde hair that turns yellow-orange a few weeks after a visit to the salon. Purple shampoos don't calm down enough, so I figured I'd better upgrade them with blue. After two uses, the hair took on a pleasant ashy hue. It is sulfate free which is also a plus and leaves my hair very soft and clean. I was skeptical about spending that much but luckily after trying everything it was worth it.

Small but powerful!

I was skeptical about using this product but am amazed at the results after the first use. I have bleached my hair about 5 times in the last year after running out of color and reverting to my natural brown hair color. Over time my hair turned coppery in color due to previous hair dyes and how much my hair was lifted. Before use, the bottom half of my hair was brown but with a distinct orange tint. I left the shampoo on for 10 minutes in the middle and at the end to maximize results. The…

The Copper Age is over.

I've only used this once so this is a preview. I've been dying my hair brown regularly for about 6 years. In the last year or so I've noticed that the brown color turns reddish quickly. It never occurred to me that it means "copper". I asked my stylist about it, she suggested making it darker. It was of no use. During the coronavirus pandemic, I watched a lot of videos about hairstyles. Brad Mondo suggested using tonic. My stylist stated that she doesn't and knew little about it. So I took a…

It works out!

I have highlighted hair that loves to turn orange tones no matter what I put on it. I tried L'Oreal Purple Shampoo/Conditioner, Matrix total results, semi-permanent color-locking conditioner. and that. I don't spend my money to try something else afterwards. Unlike L'Oreal and Matrix (which look almost the same in color, although one is a purple shampoo and the other is said to be "blue"), this product clearly contains a rich dark blue pigment. Personally, I apply it to my hair and leave it on…
