Rock-Solid Auger for Heavy-Duty Drilling

Based on my observations, this auger has been a real game-changer in my business. The design is incredibly solid and it has made drilling holes in tough surfaces so much easier. The sharp edges reduce vibration and improve accuracy. The only con I have noticed is that the price point is a bit high, but considering the quality of the product and the level of efficiency, it is undeniably worth the investment.

Pros
  • Wide range of sizes for versatility with different digging needs.
Cons
  • Difficult to use without prior experience operating augers.

Ideal for holes in wood mason bees

Holes in blocks of wood about 20 cm deep are ideal for garden mason bees. Holes produce more females to pollinate. This bit is much easier to drill than the overly flexible 18" bit. That's enough for me.

Pros
  • Drill bit
Cons
  • Drill bit pack

Complete scrap for drill

broke cleanly the first hole I drilled. No, I wasn't weird. No, he didn't hit a rock or a nail. I actually thought it pulled into the wood with ease and then broke. Absolutely ridiculous. And the return policy states that it can only be returned if it is new AND unused. I have a lot of drill bits, but for my current project I wanted 5/16. What a piece of shit.

Pros
  • Drill
Cons
  • are not as thick as the other picks
