Doesn't work as advertised

If you're buying this for a pocket apartment - STOP! I had four tools and it couldn't stay in my pocket (wrench, square head screwdriver, frosted knife and wire cutters). It will probably work fine on a belt, but it's not as advertised. Return running!

Pros
  • Doping ๐Ÿ”ฅ
Cons
  • Nothing

Not strong enough, suitable for tool organizer

I really wanted to like this. All the tools I need on a daily basis fit perfectly, unfortunately one of my Phillips heads went through the bracket in the first week. I tried using it for one of my wrenches but it kept sticking out. I also removed the bit from the screwdriver and used the other pocket. Extra step whenever I need it. The returns window closed trying to find a good leather bag so I'm sticking with it.

Pros
  • practical item
Cons
  • crumpled packaging

Very disappointed with this product.

First of all I have always bought this brand for the last +20 years. The belt lasted 20 years, the three tool pouches lasted 20 years, the tool box lasted 10 years, but this pouch is a flop. I've had this bag for a few months and it's holding up well except for the velcro. It broke after two weeks and now it won't stay on my belt. If I wanted to take a bag with me, I would buy one. I suggest this company omits the velcro and just uses the loop.

Pros
  • Certified
Cons
  • I have no negative feelings about it, everything is fine

Big and comfortable but doesn't last long

I bought two of these and use them every day. The first one didn't last very long because my screwdriver immediately pierced the bottom. I liked the size and it was cheap enough so I gave it another try but used a ghetto piece from a shampoo bottle to protect the soft canvas from my screwdriver. About a year later, my voltage tester popped off the silver screen. I love the product and if you use a makeshift plastic wrap you can expect it to last a year (up to a dollar a month on average, whichโ€ฆ

Great for field workers (archaeologists, geologists, etc.)

A wonderful bag for field researchers. It's durable and well built and the size is perfect. It includes Rite in the Rain #374 notepad, Globe color primer, eraser, marker and pencil, spirit level, Marshalltown trowel, and my smartphone, which fits comfortably in the elasticated compartment at the very end. Contrary to my expectations, the trowel stayed in place during the two-week shoot. I clipped it to my "tool belt" with Suunto and metric tape on the other side.

Perfect. As advertised.

The best part is how easy it is to put on: just slide the back flap under your waistband and the velcro of this flap finds the velcro on the back of this bag easily and quickly. It is easier than clips from other brands and brands that have their own straps. Another advantage is that the pockets are difficult to stay open, making openings the easiest to find when inserting tools. Compared to competitors made of crumpled fabric that have their holes rolled up, the wearer has to spend timeโ€ฆ

Too small for a man's hand

This bag has really good reviews and seems to have exactly the features I want in a tool belt pouch. Unfortunately it's about half the size it needs to be so I can reach into my pocket and get screws or whatever from underneath. It's too small for me to fully reach. It is probably suitable for smaller people and children. If you have a wide bone, you just can't use this. I was very disappointed when I opened the box and found that the pouch was noticeably smaller than my hand, so I wasn'tโ€ฆ

Great for lots of small tools

I bought this to use in my new job as a computer engineer and it's great! I don't have a belt because I've never needed one, so being able to clip it in a pocket or around the waist of my pants is very valuable. This style lacks pockets for women or people who don't have a belt. Believe me I checked. Most were too heavy/bulky for me with too many pockets! It fits a cable tester, multi-tool, screwdriver, scissors, notepad, mini flashlight, pen and Lego Batman (don't ask). There are still a fewโ€ฆ

Pros
  • High marks for grip and durability from testers
Cons
  • Not as thick as other picks

Lightweight, EASY on and off

A picture speaks a thousand words etc. I am a homeowner of a mini-ranch in suburban Phoenix. Horses, dogs, fences, etc. I basically carry this bag all day while lounging, doing chores, hanging out in the man cave, etc. Anytime I find a loose gizmo, I can fix it without going and getting to need the tool box. The content I keep in my bag changes a bit from time to time. For example, when I'm working with HVAC, I add a screwdriver with some 1/4-5/16 nuts for the panel screws. When I do anythingโ€ฆ
