BUD Industries JBH 4944 KO Knockout Hinged Review

As an industrial electrician, I was disappointed with this product. As a result of my tests, I determined that the materials used were subpar and the hinge was flimsy. Although the dimensions were accurate, the overall quality of this product was poor. Unfortunately, I cannot recommend this product to anyone in the Industrial and Scientific fields.

The problem with this box is a HUGE aggressive latch in the center of the door. It takes up half the depth of the box, making it unusable for many applications. Otherwise, it's solid and appealing. Unfortunately I had to remove the latch to close it on my compact contactor.

Used as a junction box and housing to connect heavy duty outdoor extensions to our chick coop. There was plenty of room inside, the "key" is a little tight, not for lack of space, but because the latch is so strong and how tightly it's mounted. You don't do that every day, so it works.
