Budge Barrier Station Waterproof SRB 2 Review

The ad said it would fit a 1970 Buick station wagon. not even close! Car length 223 inches, cap 216! I give it 3 stars because the material and workmanship of the case look great, but they just don't fit.

I've only had it a few months so I can't comment on the durability of the product. My old station wagon survived several storms in northern Michigan under this coating. In windy weather everything stayed in place and the lid didn't budge (pun intended).

I bought this knowing it was cheaper and didn't have a zip to get to the car but thought it might be a short term solution to protect my car. The lid isn't fully waterproof, although it comes close. Even more disturbing, however, is the ease with which it blows off the car. No matter how hard I try to put it on I still wake up to find the damn thing blown off. Go on. buy more. If you don't live in a windless place, you won't regret it.

Before I bought this cover for my 2006 Volvo Estate I did a lot of research on this cover. I was concerned about the fit and its ability to keep out the rain. Some seals around the windows leak in heavy rain. I was happy with it, I only had a few months so I'm not sure how it will hold up over the New England winter. This car cover was purchased to cover a car parked outside year round in a relatively temperate climate with fairly strong winds and moderate amounts of rain. After last winter, when I noticed that the car was in the shade most of the day, I saw dirt and mold growing in the cracks.
