Very dissatisfied with the very very short lifespan of these bulbs. I would run at least a year on Phillips halogen bulbs. I was lucky with these, I got 3 months. I will not buy again.

junk - don't waste your money. I bought 12 for a kitchen lamp that uses multiple bulbs. I always write the installation date on the underside of the bulb. 3 were bad out of the box. None lasted more than 3 months.

These bulbs are quite difficult to find and my side table lamp really needs them for the lampshade. I dig the tungsten light that sets it off. It's soothing and warm and perfect for a reading table lamp. The only problem is that they usually only last about a year and as I mentioned before they are hard to come by and therefore a bit pricey for a single bulb.
