Winch mount arrived as described. The box was damaged in transit, but all the hardware inside was undamaged. It was used to mount a Smittybilt XRC Gen 3 winch in the JT Gladiator metal bumper on the Jk. Despite the application, everything fits without problems. The winch plate and winch fit together perfectly and I didn't have to use the included bracket to move the canister. First I had to use a hammer to get the panel between the frame rails. After that, sailing went smoothly.

The holes at the junction of the frame and plate are badly misaligned, the plating is cracked and the tank's moveable mount placed the tank too close to the stabilizer bar, making a special alternative. The Amazon movable photo mount is not included. We were lured by the price, but in the end we returned the product and bought it a little more expensive than another brand. This mount had the same plate design, a different mount to move the canister, and installed with no problems.

Looks good after installation. It took a hammer to squeeze it between the frame rails. It would be better if it was 1/8" to 3/16" smaller (less wide). Then it will be cleaner. It's almost as if the design didn't take into account the thickness of the vacuum tank mount. Due to the slight offset caused by the bracket, a through hole had to be drilled to mount the bumper. Kit did not include hardware to install. The company rep was kind enough to send me a list of everything that should be included so I could run to Lowe and spend the $30. The bracket for moving the vacuum tank does not fit between the plate and the stabilizer bar. Attach it to the frame. They may include self-tapping screws, but they're not listed. This is a tight fit so have a rubber mallet and piece of wood handy. Stand up at a steep angle to release the front bumper mounts, then tap up at the rear and front to secure. Also remove the vacuum canister so it will not get in the way during installation. I installed a Smittybilt X20 10K Comp winch so there was no need to move the canister. Overall product was great. Looked good, or should I say great, and would have been easy to install. BUT it was NOT for my truck. Although the lady I spoke to said it would fit and I asked if she was sure it would fit and she said it would BUT boy was she wrong. She was very polite and seemed very knowledgeable. This is a STRONG heavy gauge steel mounting plate that is a perfect match for the standard Rubicon Hard Rock bumper. The installation took me about 4 hours in total. Not a bad machine, but comes without all the hardware. The front lead plate comes with only 2 of the 4 screws required and I am told that a replacement is not available from the manufacturer. Also, the screws for the travel mount don't go through the plate, so additional drilling is required to expand it to the size of the attached gear.
