This is the nicest belt I've ever owned. It is very thick and looks solid like all sockets. I took some measurements with a digital caliper if anyone is interested. The belt leather is 0.224 inches thick and 1.486 inches wide. My Carhart belt, which I have worn for many years, is significantly thinner and not as wide (although it is sold as a 1.5 inch belt).
