Good but too wet.

I've used this mainly on a couple of large cutting decks I have and also to maintain some wooden knife handles and while it does a pretty good job I don't like it as much as using pure wax. Unless stated in the product description or packaging, this is actually a mixture of oils and beeswax. I feel like the oils are too dominant in the mix because it's so wet compared to other waxes I've used on my cutting boards. But it works, so worth the 4 stars.

Pros
  • DOES NOT CONTAIN TOXIC SUBSTANCES SO IT CAN BE USE ON WOODEN KITCHEN UTENSILS.
Cons
  • So far so good

I usually use a different brand of oil and beeswax mixture for cutting boards, but I chose this brand because it was outdated. This product is a combination of vegetable oils and beeswax. It works well straight out of the can and is perfect for cutting boards. I make boards for sale and apply several coats of this product before delivery. I recommend reapplying this mixture every few months to keep the wood from drying out. I really like this mix and will continue to use it in the future.

Pros
  • THIS IS VERY EASY TO USE.
Cons
  • Ugly packaging

Bumblebee's Wax and Oil

I would deduct a star for labeling this product as beeswax. However, the addition of vegetable oils is good. I've used a combination of wax and usually linseed oil on my chopping boards, chopping boards etc and it's worked great for decades. Rubbing instead of brushing, I like 0000 steel wool or fiber applicator. Rubbing also allows me to work in circular motions rather than strokes. Bumblewood helps a little. I did the entire first layer (the biggest because bare wood is thirsty) with just the
