Good; but defective

Lost one so got this one as a replacement. Sent it back as it was defective. liked the old one. Large enough to remain stable; others are too small to hold. And this one uses a 9V battery; better than those pellet batteries.

  • Easy install

Nice little range finder

This is a great range finder for the money. It locks up to 200 meters and determines the distance fairly quickly. The key is to hit a "solid object" that is in the same area as what you are measuring. in general. excellent range finder

Pros
  • Great for a small house
Cons
  • Great price

Archer in Maine

The range finder has only been used a few times (just bought) to set a target for aiming in his crossbow scope but it works perfectly. It's lightweight and very easy to use, just point it and press the button. I look forward to using it to help me get my deer this year. This saves you all the guesswork to find the distance to your destination.

Pros
  • Lots of positive emotions
Cons
  • Not sure

Excellent range finder good for optics

I bought this for shooting and it's the first range finder I've ever dealt with and I was very pleased. This is a very simple setup. The button turns on the grid and you just aim at it and press the button again and it displays yards. After a short time it goes off again. It doesn't get much easier. I've read reviews where some people were unhappy that they only read meters and not yards. Under the cover is a micro switch (hidden) that toggles between yards and meters. All in all a great…

Works great for the price

This simple target reader reads meters at the push of a button. This doesn't seem to work when the objects are at an angle. I'm assuming the laser needs to bounce back, otherwise it won't be able to determine the distance. Others have said it's not suitable for golf, I'm not sure, haven't tried it yet. This device is perfect for hunting with a bow. So far I've successfully shot targets out to 175 yards, which is good enough for where I hunt. I picked this up neatly used at Revain for $99 +…

Ideal for anchoring a sailboat

Basically works great! We use our range finder to estimate the distance from our boat to shore, to other boats, and to everything around us. Typical distances are 20 to 200 yards. We bought the cheapest range finder we could find because we didn't need accuracy, we didn't need long range and we weren't sure we would need it. It turns out we use it all the time and recommend it to all our sailing friends. We would buy the same machine again, but I would change three things about it. First, the…
