You get what you pay for

The first time I connected an HDMI cable to the splitter it fell apart. Got a replacement and it still works. It's cheaply made, but it was also priced cheaply. I use it to extend my DirecTv to a second TV on my porch.

Pros
  • Special offer
Cons
  • Poor set

Not that bad. in Electric

I have ordered 2 of these. One had its inner plate poorly attached to the bezel. It was easy to fix. Both front panel screws had paint chips. Not a deal breaker because how much time would anyone actually spend looking at it?

Works great on electrical

I had an empty junction box that originally housed the antenna connectors. I was able to install it in less than 15 minutes. Works perfectly. Got a 25 foot Cat-6 in the basement ceiling. Picture book! Haven't messed anything up since installing it a few months ago. Highly recommended.

Don't waste your time

Our theater room is finally ready. HDMI connected to the back row and used that plate as a handy connection. I tried some good quality cords, wiggled, stood on my left foot, stood on my right foot. you have the idea Finally connected directly to my HDMI in the wall and everything worked fine. Judgment, don't waste your time

Pros
  • Looks good
Cons
  • Some flaws

Easy to install in wall plates and accessories

Works great. I have a DVR that I wanted to share between two adjacent rooms. Bought two of these and a short HDMI cable to stream content to another room. All plug and play. I had existing wallplates that I used component cable wall modules in, so replacing/upgrading those wallplates took less than 15 minutes.
