Does not work with Alphacool XT45 heatsink

On the one hand, the construction and workmanship are solid, well packaged, heatsink screws included. i want you to like it On the other hand, what were you thinking when it came to styling? I have to grind one side to use it with my Alphacool XT45 radiator as there is no room for standard end caps or fittings (see photo). It goes the perfect ending as soon as I do it.

Will not fit 5 1/4 tower opening, too tight

Will not fit 5 1/4 case opening. I planned to install it in front of my case. It's about 5/8 inch too narrow. I will modify it to suit. The description doesn't say that so it's my fault too. But the mount is solid.

  • Water Cooling Systems
Cons
  • Unsure

I glued a heatsink on it with no problem

Mounting holes are really easy to work with different backplates because the holes are more like slots. I had no trouble installing a 240mm radiator on it either.

Virtually no flexing when trying to flex it (not that you ever really need to test a fan mount like this). I bought it for a temporary mount to cool my small home network rack under my desk. I used strong velcro to attach it to the bottom of the table because I don't need screw holes. However, there are many screw mounting…
