Improved Packaging: Latches

The box appears to have been crushed and all the shackle clips are broken. It would be nearly impossible to load multiple staples into a staple cartridge at one time.

Pros
  • 22 gauge 3/8" shackle, zinc crown
Cons
  • Almost never

Grex 5/8 Band Connector Clips

I'm used to using Senco clips but chose Grex as Revain doesn't stock Senco clips in the same size Grex shackles are made from a much softer metal and will flex even when shot at soft wood.

Pros
  • 5/8" leg length
Cons
  • Newer model could have been chosen

works well in Porter Cable US58 Pad Stapler

They work very well in my Porter Cable US58. So far I've shot about 2000 staples (1/2" and 5/8" long) without sticking. I sometimes get dry fires (with the gun firing but no clips because the magazine isn't advancing), but this is rare and no worse than using the original PC clips.

Pros
  • Designed for use with Grex 71AD, 71AF, 71AF-LM and 71AD-LNS Staplers
Cons
  • Blunt Packing

Grex 5/8 staples fit fasteners

I'm used to using Senco staples but decided to give Grex a try as Revain doesn't sell Senco staples in the same size. Grex shackles are made from a much softer metal and will even bend when shot at soft wood.

Pros
  • 22 gauge 3/8 inch electroplated crown shackle

work well in Porter Cable US58 Pad Staplers

They work very well in my Porter Cable US58. So far I've fired about 2000 staples (both 1/2" and 5/8" long) without jamming. Sometimes I get dry shots (where the gun fires but no clips because the magazine doesn't pull forward), but this is rare and no worse than using the original PC clips.

Pros
  • 10,000 per box
Cons
  • I don't remember but there was something
