I'm not sure if it's genetic or something, but for some reason, by the time they're about 8 years old, most boys seem to actually refuse to wear pants, no matter how cold it gets. Growing up we just didn't have a choice, but oh well. Long story short (huh, see what I made there?) Our son loves his shorts, and while he's in the process of giving up his pants, at least he looks good. We love her almost as much as he does.

They have become my new favorite running tights. Very light and comfortable. It would be possible to do without the liner, but I haven't learned how to cut it yet. It works great for what a liner is supposed to do. I like the back/middle zip pocket. He holds my house key and ID while I go jogging. I have already bought a second pair and can only recommend them.

The only reason these shorts are rated 3 stars is that the size chart provided when ordering does not match the size supplied. The sizing chart says the average size is 10-12 which is just what I need for my grandson. However, the medium arrived but it was a size 8-10 which is a little tight and has nowhere to grow. If I had known that, I would not have ordered this product.

These shorts are well made and nice material. My 12 year old loves Champion mesh shorts so I ordered these C9 shorts as the brand is an offshoot of Champion. They are way bigger than other champion shorts he has. I had to return an L instead of an M. Revain made giving back very easy!

I have an 8 year old that I just can't keep up with. Kids grow up so damn fast! I usually take it up a size so he can use it before we have to give it away. They fit just below the knee (he's the same size as me). I think they fit like they should. They are a size larger than what he currently has, but the elastic keeps them in place. They did not shrink when washed and dried. He loves her!

I'm a grown woman but I'm small and can fit into children's clothes. These shorts fit me well, not too big and not too small. I wish the material was a little softer like a silky mesh instead of that rough mesh material it has. In general I am satisfied with them.

This was the last purchase for a family photo. I was so happy to receive it and very punctual. I received it just before my grandson went home from the state.

These are decent gym shorts. They're made of lightweight fabric that wicks sweat and moisture. There's also a functional drawstring waist which is great if you're looking to grow taller. Got a size too big for my grandson and the lace didn't tighten enough, but it's on me for ordering the wrong size. If you are the right size or slightly larger then these are great shorts. The current retail price of around $8 is excellent value for money.

These shorts are not true to size, I wouldn't even spend my money on them. My grandson is a bit hoarse so I bought the largest size, it didn't fit at all. My other grandson is skinny and I bought him an 8x10 and it fits him.

I don't usually write reviews, but I've felt the need for other moms like me to be looking for a replacement since Target stopped wearing the Champions Boys shorts. I'm so glad I found these shorts for my boys. They are finally available in L and XL sizes and every color as they could match. Replacing in Target just isn't the same. These are the only shorts my boys want to wear, they are made for active kids.

Love it! My grandson was so excited he finally got the colorful shorts! I liked the pockets and mesh panels on the sides. You look good too.

He loves their fit and feel. They're really thin and seem transparent when you're holding them, but when he wears them they're fine.
