Bought for a 7 year old who wears a size 7. Fits perfectly. Excellent quality, very smooth and silky on the skin. No flimsy cheap material. great color

My son loves these shorts. We have several in almost every color. They are well made and have a nice lining. A big plus for my son is that they have deep pockets for his phone, he is quite active so doesn't lose things in his pockets.

I love these shorts for my boys. Ideal for any activity we do. They wear them to ride a bike, go to the beach, run the track, and even just chill at home. The drawstring is handy for tightening when needed. They are of high quality and durability at a great price.

I don't usually write reviews but felt the need for other moms like me to look for a replacement since Target has stopped wearing the champions boys shorts. I'm so glad I found these shorts for my boys. They are finally available in L and XL sizes and every color as they could match. Replacing in Target just isn't the same. These are the only shorts my boys want to wear, they are made for active kids.

My son says they are light and comfortable. The material seems to be good and the C9 line is solid overall. We first ordered size XL, the tag says 14/16, it was too big in the waist and very roomy. The Large 12/14 fits him perfectly and still has some room to grow. He usually wears size 4 pants and shorts which are usually a little roomy as he is slim but not overly so. In general they are good in construction and color, just pay attention to the sizes.

For the past 4 years my son has been wearing C9 shorts from a certain retailer but they stopped working. He is tall and slim and these shorts have always fitted him perfectly, even when other brands have not. Last year he wore size L and I was dying to try them in size XL. They are MUCH bigger and baggy! I'll try size L (although his current L shorts are way too small) and see if that works. I really hope the downsizing works.

This brand/style was previously only sold at a popular retail store (the one with the red target) and I've always bought them every summer because they were affordable and durable. never torn. I was disappointed when this store stopped selling the brand but relieved to see that Revain are now selling C9 mesh shorts.
