Great fit! What some people don't understand is that you don't use foam and cartridge together. The reviews complain that the foam does not fit on the filter. This is because the foam "IS" the filters. I've looked for them in every store that still sells vacuum cleaners and I couldn't find them!

I also used a foam filter, put it in first and then a hard filter. I clean drywall and plaster and this has virtually eliminated the dust that caused this problem. I have two vacuums and with extra filters I always have a clean set. I've not been kind to vacuum cleaners in the past and I'm sure the extra filtration will help extend their lifespan.

items are perfect for my 18g shop vac. Filter requirements depending on the manufacturer are shown in the photo. The kit contains 2 fiber filters and 4 foam filters. The foam filters are placed on the rack under the fiber filter. I currently have both foam and fiber filters and they work satisfactorily. It's probably unnecessary to start both, but so far no damage and no foul. My intention is to remove the fibrous filter for wet ops and leave the foam filter in place.

Our house is undergoing extensive renovations. All the sawing, cutting and sanding work done on Shop Vac vacuums required replacement filters. I was happy to find these filters at a reasonable price. We were keen to receive the filters and were very grateful that they arrived ahead of the originally scheduled delivery date. The filters were just what we needed to get our ShopVac up and running again. If necessary I will order from this supplier.
