I like it very much! I used 2 sets so I didn't have to put seals around the window etc. The same remote worked on both slats, so I can have one remote in the kitchen and one in the living room. Can get a third set to light up another small part of the cabinets where the microwave is. It's nice that the cost is low so I don't feel bad about using extra kits. You can cut this tape, just know that where you cut the tape is where the run ends.

I'm glad it's a real RF remote, I went behind the wall and it still worked so definitely no IR . It took me 3 separate installs as my cabinets were powered off, but being able to use one remote for all of them is pretty much the same thing a pro would do! I liked these lights except for two things that did NOT stop me from using them. First, to the extent that parts are joined together to bypass a refrigerator or stove, there are not enough connectors to connect the refrigerator and stove. My husband and I just used 2 sets instead of using connectors to bypass one of them. Second. Little sticky things won't stick no matter how much you use. Bought 2 of these kitchen cabinet lighting kits (requires extra length). I modified it a bit to not see any wires and didn't want the electrical connector or wires to be visible anywhere. I drilled a small hole in the cabinet above the microwave and routed the wires across the cabinets (the outlet is in the cabinet above the microwave).
