Not compatible with my 4K/Dolby Vision/HDR setup.

The cables appear to be well made but I couldn't get them to carry a 4k signal from my receiver to my TV. I ended up going with cables from another company which were "Certified Premium High Speed HDMI®" and had no problems with them.

Pros
  • Great for me

  • Neutral

EDITED - 50% Off Computer Accessories & Peripherals

EDIT 3/16/20: Cable Matters was very quick to respond to my review and arranged for a replacement cable set. These cables fit and work perfectly! Thank you Cable Matters! ORIGINAL REVIEW: Bought two packs. Only one of them could snap into a keystone connector. Tried different tablets, different outlets, everything. On closer inspection, one of the two pigtail connectors was actually deformed. A 50% success rate isn't great, Cable Matters.

Pros
  • Rugged Finish
Cons
  • Modernity

Works Computer and accessories

Works, HDMI goes through easily. Fits into the black keystone socket in the projector ceiling. I would like a black version without pigtails from CM.

Pros
  • Something inside
Cons
  • Doubtful purchase for the elderly

They worked great for me!

I used these cables to connect my Man Cave Dream home theater system. They are easy to install and easy to connect to my home theater with HDMI cables running through the walls. I can confirm they work and don't seem to have any issues delivering 4K HDR content. I'm using an Anthem MRX-720 AV Receiver, 65" LG TV, and AudioQuest Forest HDMI cables.

Pros
  • Great for a small home
Cons
  • I'll write back later

Cornerstones are too thick to place next to each other

Works well but does not fit. There is a bulge on the cable behind the keystones that makes it impossible to use two of these cables side-by-side in a 1U (19-inch) 24-port rack panel. to skip the trapezoidal holes in my panel to use them.

Pros
  • Absolutely amazing!
Cons
  • Has been damaged

Do not use with 4K HDR

I dared to connect the built-in HDMI cable to my LG CX TV. Although they transmit a 4K signal, there is significant artifacting (white dots that look like stars) in areas of the screen that should otherwise be either black or showing content. Removing the Cable Matters adapter and connecting the TV directly to the video source fixed the problem immediately. This will likely work for 1080p or other less intense graphics, but stay away if you're trying to use 4K HDR.

  • Satisfied so far

Slightly out of specification. The seals don't come off

They seem to be well made except that they fall a little short of what is required to get a secure lock in a trapezoidal stone. I know it's not a wall slab because I've tried other keystones in the slab and they fit well. However, a little ingenuity solved the problem. I was able to get them to snap into place very securely by pushing the clip with a large toothpick and then cutting the toothpick. Now they are so hard I would have to pull out a toothpick to get them out. In general I am…

Slightly out of specification. Will not fit without spacers

They appear to be well made except that they are slightly out of spec for a solid keystone hold. In general I am satisfied, but I am only satisfied…

Pros
  • Electronics
Cons
  • No power

Works, but has an asterisk. Most buyers should be aware of the limitations. My test rig is a 3ft HDMI2.0HDmi keystone cable 15ft in the wall. . It is better to run from end to end with a brush plate. However, if you are at a keystone in a wall, run 6 feet or less with 3 feet of cables on each side. It should work without flickering or snowing. Just something to know for those who want to clean install devices. Just see if you can mount it in the same wall stud for the shortest route in the…

My problem solved! Excellent Cable/Keystone

I was struggling to figure out how to get HDMI. I came across a wall panel with standard trapezoidal stones for a neat fit. My first idea was a right angle HDMI male adapter combined with a regular HDMI keystone or maybe just a corner keystone. Both have disadvantages: the first is an extra connection and therefore an extra potential point of failure/deterioration (I prefer as few as possible), and all the examples I could find were sideways only, not up/down and still take up a lot of space on
