LC fiber keystone insert is compatible with Multimode OM1, OM2, OM3, OM4 and 50 micron or 62.5 micron fiber patch cords; Fits a standard opening in a patch panel, wall plate or surface mount box for keystone jacks. LC fiber coupler joins two duplex multimode fiber patch cables with Low profile LC connectors; Protective caps on the adapter prevent dirt from entering the fiber keystone jack or multimode fiber cables. Duplex LC adapter with a flangeless design, phosphor bronze sleeve, and stainless steel retention clip accommodates zipcord fiber cables; Fiber keystone will not block the zipcord yoke when changing polarity of the cord. Sturdy snap-in construction of LC fiber feed-thru coupler keystone provides a secure connection; Installation of female to female keystone insert provides a professional looking installation in the home or office. Everything seems fine. for computer cable adapter

The quality seems to be normal. I'll edit the review after making the connections and comparing the signal loss to direct connections (to measure signal loss if any). 5 stars for now!

Good work! Solid in Cable Matters Keystone Panel

They work exactly as you would expect. They are firmly seated on the Cable Matters Keystone patch panel. I used a couple of these to clear out a small network rack that originally had fiber optics running straight to the switch's SFP ports. This makes the cables more secure, which means I'm less likely to damage thinner fiber optic cables.

Good devices for organizing fiber optic patch cords

I didn't really expect them to work as well as they have over the past year of using them in my rack. They work well and are easy to set up as they just plug into a 24 port server rack keystone box and just plug both ends to the network switch and then boot up with no problems.

I thought Keystone was only true in fairy tales. Now I'm a believer!

I was very skeptical about this product. I thought Keystone fiber optic jacks were a gimmick. I was very wrong! These baddies plug right into your patch panel or wall plate, plug into a standard LC fiber optic patch cord, and you're done! No lag or signal performance issues and they look neat as a button! Good product. Purchase additional services

I was afraid that drying out the fiber would cause problems. Not that I use them, I love them. I can use low voltage wall panels and just plug them in. The only problem is plugging in the connectors when not in use. This offers a clean install at a slight premium. I was able to buy patch cords and two packs for a very reasonable price. I plan to install more. I have ordered them again. They are worth their price. Cable bridges can also be purchased cheaply in bulk. The ability to use keystoneโ€ฆ

Is it stuck to the keystone panel? You need it.

I don't know why I have to rate them on 'clarity' and 'stretch'; As far as I can tell they can't be used as tights and even if they could I didn't buy them for that. However, they CAN be used as LC fiber optic connectors and work great as such. They're particularly useful because they fit side-by-side in tight keystone configurations, including 6-port Decora panels (which can even be difficult to plug in ethernet ports) and 24-port rack-mount keystone patch panels like those from Monopriceโ€ฆ
