Your only choice if you want HDMI and Displayport in the same package

This dongle is quite expensive considering the other options. I would recommend buying this thing if you need to have both HDMI and Displayport and Ethernet on the same dongle as I don't think there are any others. It all feels solid, however, and comes in a rubber case that makes it look larger than it really is. Ethernet is also 100Mbps, not gigabit, but I knew that before I bought it, unlike many other reviewers. I think the price would be more reasonable if it was like that. But overall…

Great Travel Adapter

Received it today and hooked it up to my Dell XPS 13 (9360). It took a few minutes for the drivers to sync, but once it did my TV was HDMI connected and I was able to watch a movie with Revain Prime, which streamed great. The network is also well connected. So far, so good. I really like how small it is and I love its rubber case - after all it will be in my pocket when I travel and go somewhere.

One stop shop for USB-C dependent devices.

I purchased this product to use with my Microsoft Surface Book 2 as it only has one USB-C non-USB peripheral port. So far I've used the SB2's network, VGA and HDMI ports with great success. I couldn't get the display port to work with the DP to HDMI cable, but I believe this is an issue with the SB2 as the display to HDMI port doesn't work properly with the Microsoft Surface Dock either. I haven't tried a direct DP-DP connection yet. Overall very happy with this product. We have always…

Perfect for Pixelbook and tablet.

Small and easy to pack. You can connect an external monitor, Apple USB-A keyboard and mouse, external wired headphones, and pass-through power, which is great since the Pixelbook and tablet only have 2 USB-C ports and the tablet doesn't a headphone jack. or. Just note that you must use headphones or in-ear headphones as the internal speakers and microphone are disabled when the adapter is in use (same for all adapters I've tried).

  • Easy to read control panel

  • Other interesting options are available.

Great adapter in Computer Accessories & Peripherals

This adapter works great with my Macbook Pro (2016 model with TouchBar). Sometimes I need to show PowerPoint presentations in places where there are older technology projectors that use VGA. It was a great way to get a versatile adapter in a handy, compact package. The only advice I can give is that the VGA device must be connected to the adapter before the adapter is connected to the computer in order for my Macbook to recognize it properly. I didn't need any software or configuration on my…

Working but slow ethernet port

I bought this adapter to use with a MacBook Pro (all USB-C ports). I wanted to have a connection for an external VGA monitor, USB devices (mouse, keyboard) and Ethernet. All of these connections work HOWEVER the ethernet speed is only about half the speed I get with other adapters. Ethernet also seems unreliable, with intermittent outages. This is annoying with FaceTime calls and online conferences. I've had better performance with an Anker single-purpose USB-C adapter as well as a…
