CableCreation 4 Conductor Microphone Cable with Auxiliary Compatibility Review

Initially the cable worked as described and looked very well made. My son uses it to connect his Xbox One headphones to the controller. Unfortunately, after only two months, no sound can be heard through one of the speakers. Temporarily moving the cable fixes this, leading me to believe there is a short somewhere in the cable. Gave it three stars for cost and looks, but durability isn't the best.

I bought these to solder into my Hyper X gaming headset as a replacement for my old worn out chords. I'm ashamed I didn't read their measurements and realize how short they really are. They are so short I don't really know what use they can be. Also they are very thin and I feel that the internal wiring is not protected. The sound isn't what it used to be either, but it could be due to poor soldering on my part. I really do not know it.

I bought this to replace my headphone cable (MPOW headphones) which was bent in such a way that the cable's coating had already peeled off and the internal wiring was exposed.
