Odd Dongle is the best in Computers & Accessories

Mine works well in normal configuration, like connecting directly to HDMI on a TV. But I wanted to connect it to my old Apple monitor which only has a DVI port when I use the HDMI to DVI adapter with my Galaxy S9 and my phone just turns off and immediately turns off and can't be used again a waste of $10. If anyone could help diagnose this issue I would be willing to upgrade to 4 stars.

A cost-effective way for technologies to communicate with each other.

This little adapter allows my S8+ to connect to my TV. This is an amazing device. I have no problem with audio or video streams on my TV, I can mirror the screen and it rotates according to the screen orientation of our video stream. This is a game changer for sure as my phone and TV don't talk to each other.

Bought another adapter before this one without the .

Previously purchased another adapter without reading the FULL description. Didn't know there was a difference between these units. It turned out that my device was specifically listed as not compatible with this model. I have a Lenovo Yoga 910. It said it was compatible with my particular device and it's been working great since I've had it. My advice to you is to always read the FULL description before buying.

One thing that was very confusing was changing the resolution to the highest possible.

This adapter works with my LG 32UD59 4k 32" monitor and 2017 Macbook Pro. Only 4 stars because I have to move the USB-C connector on my Mac to different ports until the monitor is recognized.
