This has turned out to be very profitable for us. Because of this, we were able to reuse our existing internal HBAs by removing an unused external slot, which was not a problem for our server hardware. The full height bracket on this adapter will not work if your motherboard has any tall components near the edge of the board near the bracket. Every other expansion card I have to compare against has a flat section at least 2cm wide at the bottom to fit in the gap between the motherboard and the case. Product works as advertised. Used P411i's internal port and converted it to connect to Lenovo DAS. Works without any problems. The issues I had were with a low profile bracket that you can't install because it's misaligned and won't attach properly to the board. If you are using your server's mounting bracket, it will not hold and will fall back into the server when you connect the external SAS cable. Make sure you can use a screw to secure this.
