💡 CableMod Pro ModMesh Sleeved 8-pin PCI-e Extension - White, 45cm Review

Recently bought a ModMesh Pro extension and needed an extra 8 pin connector. Although I bought the wrong color it turned out to be great (should have been black/blood red but by my mistake ended up carbon/red instead but still looks sick). The braid feels and looks good, although you will have to straighten and re-bend the cables after taking them out of the box.

Much better than the old Silverstone cable I had. To do this I had to 3D print the combs because they couldn't keep a good shape. I wish I had a modflex because they are paracord cables which bend very easily but the modmesh is fine.

I like the extra combs, they feel good and give them a cleaner look. IMO it's worth the extra cost compared to those who don't have it.

Needed as an option along with the extension cable provided as most 3090 models with better bays are 38 pins. However, it bends with difficulty, but the quality is good.

A few years ago A bought a CableMod extension kit to improve the appearance. From this kit, a PCI-E power extension cable was poorly made and at the socket end, some spade lugs were crooked and did not insert easily.
