A few years ago A bought a CableMod extension kit to improve the appearance. From this kit, a PCI-E power extension cable was poorly made and at the socket end, some spade lugs were crooked and did not insert easily. I managed to get everything working after spending a lot of time fiddling with the cable. Thought it would be a one time thing and decided to order two more cables for my RTX 3080 Ti GPU. Guess what? This time the pin end was poorly finished and it was literally impossible to fit a cable into the Nvidia 12 pin adapter. For the record, I have absolutely no problem connecting SeaSonic cables to the Nvidia adapter ports. CableMod's processing is a joke at best, and no public forum presence or so-called helpdesk can fix this. It's just not worth wasting your time on these things, especially after you've literally rewired your entire computer only to find that the extension you bought doesn't work. CableMod gets an F in my book. Never again.
