Most of those splitter cables you find at Revain are designed to feed the microphone and audio stream separately. All I needed was an audio stream that could be sent to two different recording systems. It worked great! The quality is good, the sound is as expected.

I needed a splitter that supports the microphone. I connected one side to the Nintendo Switch and the other side to the Discord Phone. Works perfectly. The only downside is that any audio from my phone halves the audio from my Switch. Not so hot what's up. Let's hear my command loud and clear.

I was looking for an adapter that separates a 3.5mm four-wire plug into a 3.5mm two-wire microphone plug and a 3.5mm three-wire headphone plug. Not this cable. This is a 3.5mm 4 wire splitter to two 3.5mm 4 wire splitter. Seems like a good cable if that's what you want.

I tried to use it with a lighting adapter (original) to output sound from a computer and an iPhone to a headphone (an iPhone also with a microphone). There was some noise (static) and I couldn't get any sound from my phone even after switching over, thinking it was a faulty cable. It looks like the 4 rings on the jack are not properly connected to use the microphone and headphone features.

Sound quality is good no difference straight from my laptop. My microphone is working properly and sending audio to my laptop or phone. I have two computers - one for work and one for personal use - and I'm really tired of moving the speaker connection back and forth. So I tried a splitter a few months ago and it didn't work. You could hear one computer when the other wasn't connected - and that was the stereo splitter, not the mic/audio version. I bought this product based on the reviews that it would work, but it didn't work. One signal is really good and the other is very, very weak. I had to turn everything 100% to hear it.

Disclaimer: Used this as a workaround for something that should/shouldn't be done at all. I need this to connect PS4 audio to my iPhone Discord chat. It works. Just remember to connect the device that requires the microphone LAST, as it will overwrite the first signal. Here's a little experiment, but it works the way I need it to!
