Used for rotating the water pump to tension the driving belt. Easily adjust and hold the water pump when replacing or adjusting the timing belt. Works on 1.6L engines in 2004-current Chevrolet Aveo excluding 2009 with variable timing engine and 1999-2002 Daewoo Lanos.

It works on 42mm but tolerance makes it

Hi my Chevy Aveo needs 41mm and using pliers was a problem, it works but Aveo was a little under 41mm and this one was a little over 42mm so I had about 1/4 nut between Solved the two, if that makes sense, the saving grace is that the water pump isn't tightened like a bolt. It was 9am vs 11am so I bought it.
