Description of ☕ Cafec Premium Coffee Filter: Dark Roast (4 Cups) - V60 02 Style Disposable Paper Filter for Pour Over Dripper Brewing

Premium coffee paper filter: The World's 1st Premium Paper Filter by flow-rate difference so that you could enjoy your favorite coffee as you use three different methods!! 1) Slower Flow Rate for suggested light roast to improve aroma and clean-taste. 2) Medium Flow Rate for suggested dark roast to improve body and sweetness 3) Faster Flow Rate for suggested medium roast to improve balance and favor. For Light Roast: *For Aroma & Clean Cup *Thickness-1: Thickness 0.15 mm *Density: High *One-Side Crepe (No crepe on inside and crepe on outside) *There is no crepe inside paper, so the inside surface area is small. Coffee fine powders attach within this small area, so little water path is left then water is building up inside paper filter. For Medium Roast: *For Balance & Flavor *Thickness-3: Thickness 0.28 mm *Density: Low *Two-Side Crepe (Good balanced height) *The well-balanced Two-Side Crepe let water flow smoothest. The surface area is largest among the three papers so water path can be kept until last even if all fine powder is attached. For Dark Roast: *For Body & Sweetness *Thickness-2: Thickness 0.22mm *Density: Middle *Two-Side Crepe (Dence: low-height) *This paper has the “Two-Side Crepe” but the height of crepe is set to be lower. Premium paper filters for specialty coffee: Good Coffee and Good Paper Filters.

Wow what a difference

French Roast making decaffeinated coffee in Hario V60 and decided to try these filters. They produced a much smoother cup of coffee compared to the brown Hario filters that came with my coffee maker. If you're making dark roast fillings, I definitely recommend trying them out.

Pros
  • Premium specialty coffee paper filters: good coffee and good paper filters
Cons
  • New competitors have appeared

Other order for coffee and espresso machine parts and accessories

These were fantastic filters when I first received them. For light roasts that I like to brew, much better than Hario filters. However, when I reordered them, I received a different paper weight ("T-92") that will completely stop your pour-over at any reasonable grind size. I guess I have to order from a responsible coffee vendor or directly from the coffee shop from now on.

Pros
  • For medium roast: *For balance and flavor *Thickness-3: 0.28mm thickness *Density: low Side crepe allows water to flow more smoothly. The surface is the largest among the three types of paper, so the waterway can be maintained to the last even if all the fine powder sticks.
Cons
  • Ugly packaging

Edit: OK, but not for beginners.

While I still stick by the original content of my review (see below), after tweaking the brew recipe (and purchasing a better grinder), I found that the slower flow rate these filters offer is a very smooth one and can produce delicious cup of coffee. However, if you are using an entry-level grinder like the Baratza Encore, I strongly advise against using these filters as they are extremely prone to clogging due to the amount of fine particles produced by lower-end grinders. In general, if you…
