We bought these for our bedrooms in our new house. We bought blackout curtains for our bedroom - awesome! For the rooms we bought filters which could be a mistake. On a positive note, the guest rooms are inviting during the day as the light makes the spaces inviting. In our room, we just pull up the curtains when we're ready for the day the light will bring. Bought one of these 46" x 72" because similar blinds were discontinued at Home Depot. 9/16" because 9/16" is slightly larger than 1/2". I couldn't understand how they could make blinds that size and only 1/2" thick. When the blinds arrived I realized that they were actually 1.5" thick, which is a lot more reasonable. The quality seems pretty good, but maybe not as durable as Home Depot blinds. The light weight makes it easy to lower and raise, but I'm concerned about durability. All mounting…

I love these shades but check the length of the actual shade when you open the box! I ordered two (2) of these for our French patio doors, both 32 1/2 inches wide. They came in two (2) batches. The first box I received showed the correct width and I hung it. "First I took off the old blinds and threw away the associated hardware. It looked great! The windows are 32 3/4 inches and I knew 32.5 inches could be tight. but decided to give it a try. 1 year update: blinds no longer fully open after 1 year of use. My original review also mentioned that the boxes didn't come with proper hardware and that the company doesn't offer customer support (the only option is Revain). I replaced some of them with another company called Linen Avenue - also Revane.
