Motorhome RV Trailer Trim Insert

Installed not bad, took longer to take out the old one and clean the track. But it cracked and now looks like new. See what size you need as there are multiple width options.

Pros
  • High marks for support and durability from testers
Cons
  • Communication with seller

Get the hard work. Not this

Replaced with my own slider. After 4 months it softened and started falling out. This is the third Camco product I've bought and it hasn't even lasted a year. I bought a "heavy" finish, let's hope it works better. This material was too thin and too cheap.

Pros
  • Annual test period
Cons
  • There are nuances

Heavier and better than the original

This finish is ideal for replacing vinyl in a van gutter. I ripped out the old flimsy, cracked and weak factory installed gasket and reinstalled it in minutes. Works great and much heavier/stronger than the original. I then put a bead of Dicor sealant in the tube on both sides of the channel (outside) and it looks great.

Pros
  • Best in Niche
Cons
  • Minor issues

Perfect replacement for my RV

This was the perfect replacement for the vinyl under the front of my fifth wheel. The area that runs vertically to the left and right of the battery pack curves up and then horizontally to the front of the motorhome. It has a groove/groove for the screw heads. It helps to do it on a warm day and have a helper who can hold it straight while you squeeze it to fit the slot.

Pros
  • Consistent test results
Cons
  • Miscellaneous Miscellaneous

Great product good hand training

I used this to replace the vinyl trim on my 2017 Jayco fifth wheel. The original skin must have been installed when it was hot, and when the cold weather set in the skin popped out in its tract. Attaching the new thicker pad was a bit tricky, especially for the thumb and forefinger. However, once installed it looks great and I haven't had any more issues despite surviving the Colorado winter.

Pros
  • Nice packaging
Cons
  • Some trouble

Travel trailer fairing for curved front and rear.

Large overview is not required. My trailer's end paneling was cracked and torn off. I bought this and after taking out the old fairing I installed it, caulked and it's good to last 2 or 3 more seasons. If you have a coach trailer, expect to buy one every few years. It's easy to replace, but don't try it in cold weather as it hardens the plastic.

Pros
  • Very impressive
Cons
  • Empty

He shrinks. Measure twice, add two inches, and cut the length.

This tape is best applied neither hot nor cold. Not the real world. It expands when heated during use and then shrinks unless you securely fasten BOTH ends in that one piece. Otherwise, it shrinks to its normal length in time. If you need to cut two separate lengths in one go, overlap the cuts by at least two inches so you can trim to size when shrinking. I bought this for my boat and RV in New Mexico. The replacement vinyl decal I applied looks really nice when fresh. But over the cool winter…

Pros
  • Decent performance
Cons
  • Some problems
