25 oz CamelBak Chute Mag Red Water Bottle

Received this on January 13th, 2021 so I've only had it a month; but so far I like this product. I really like pure red because red is my favorite color. I only use it for water so I haven't had to clean it yet. I will update this review when I have more to say.

Pros
  • Great for a small home
Cons
  • Ugly packaging

Inaccurate color description

I was so happy to receive this water bottle. My old one was exactly the same design and was perfect - easy to hold, open and hold a decent amount of water. Unfortunately, my "coral" water bottle was red. The cap was coral gray, but the bottle itself was undeniably red. Very disappointing as I was about to buy the blue one. Unfortunately I was on a trip and didn't have time to return so I got stuck on red.

Pros
  • Acceptable
Cons
  • Will not fit all

I like the magnetic top.

Holds 22ml of water which is approximately 3 cups. I don't think unscrewing the small cap from the mouth hole is as easy as they advertised, but I like that the magnet keeps the cap out of the way when I'm drinking - my previous water bottle only had a rubber-plastic part , which had a lid attached to the bottle, so I had to hold it out of the way when I wanted to drink. It's regular plastic so it doesn't stay cold, but I'm fine with that. I keep cold water in the fridge for easy refilling.

Pros
  • Best
Cons
  • Good but not great

I love these bottles best in sports and camping supplies

We have four of these. They were great water bottles for my kids to take to school and after school. They are not isolated, but that suits us. I would rather my kids have more water than send them with a smaller vacuum flask. Their backpacks are heavy enough without adding a giant metal water bottle to them. We have anti-straw bottles in the house - I have a feeling I'll never be able to clean them, so the puff bottle is great. The captive lid is a great feature for young and old.

Pros
  • Nice
Cons
  • Some little things

Love this chute water bottle

I bought a couple of CamelBaks before traveling to Europe and I am completely satisfied with this chute top. I've had a number of CamelBaks with a bite flap in the past that have been fine, but I will never buy one of these again. They are easy to clean and therefore much more hygienic than bite valves, which cannot be watered through. The top of the gutter is great for puffing on water if you're really thirsty. The magnetic top is so-so for keeping the lid in place while drinking, but I'd do…

Pros
  • understandable even for the old ones
Cons
  • Frequency

Improved over the old model

I have one of the 32 ounce bottles (the old model with the cap on) and wanted a smaller bottle to toss in my backpack for a cross country trip. I decided to try the 25 ounce store. I've only used it a few times but I really like it. One problem with the old style lid is that mine was easy to unscrew and leaked water. This new style lid takes more turns to close and honestly I think it's better. Of course it takes 3 seconds longer to open the lid to drink, but I don't have to worry about it…

Pros
  • Great overall performance
Cons
  • Doubtful
