Poor top valve design.

I don't know how the company managed this but they took a great product and ruined it. The new mouthpiece has a strong draw and the water flow is terrible. The size of the hole has been reduced, so you have to suck much harder. In addition, the flip cover does not snap and wobble. These guys have been making water bottles for years, how could they not check it out. I use a lid from my 10 year old model that broke in a fall. on the mountain.

Pros
  • This is amazing

My favorite when breastfeeding

I often twist the top and don't notice it leaking. Still, this is my favorite bottle of water. When breastfeeding, I breastfed with one hand. The only problem is that when I add flavor, it gets covered with black mold in the tube that goes from the mouthpiece to the straw. So this time I have two of them so that every night you can dry one on the dish rack while the other sits next to my bed. I believe this will solve the problem. And in general, after a week without washing, it became like…

I have trusted Camelbak for many years.

Very easy to fill, drink and clean. I'm a big fan of the bite valve as I got used to it with my Camelbak 3 liter hydration pack. I love how you can open the valve, take a sip and turn it upside down without leaking. I'm also a big fan of the included removable inner straw so you can drink from it without tilting your head back. I didn't like the loop attached to the lid at first, but with it you can pick up the whole bottle with one finger and attach it to the backpack with a carabiner, so I…

New cap design from old versions

I love the color of this camel tank. I've been using this brand for years because I love straws when I'm working out. Much easier than tipping a water bottle and spilling it all over yourself while running on the treadmill. The problem I always had with old bottles was that after a few uses they always leaked and everything in my bag got wet. The raising and lowering mechanism with the mouthpiece lost its security when lowering. This new design appears to have a locking mechanism but is…

Not a fan of the new mouthpiece and cap design.

TL;NGR This new design is not my jam and will probably be the last bottle of Camelbak I will buy. I've been a regular Camelbak user for a long time, but I've started looking for an alternative to refillable bottles. I've been recommending Camelbak for years on the "I've got my bread" promise, but they've stopped covering up cap wear (possible leaking or cracked caps have always been a source of ruin for my bottles). I bought this bottle without realizing that the actual bite valve was…

Pros
  • 1 year trial
Cons
  • Available in white only

I can't express how much I love this water bottle. The last bottle served me for many years until I lost it. I have never experienced any leaks. This bottle is so light yet strong I keep dropping it and it never gets damaged like other liter bottles and the scratches that drops leave on concrete are almost invisible. I have a terrible habit of chewing on mouthpieces, but the Eddy+ mouthpiece holds up so well there are no tears at all. I drink a gallon of water a day just because of this bottle.

Pros
  • Easy installation
Cons
  • Other interesting options are available.

Your options with this bottle are Turkey Mating Call or Old Faithful

In the preface: I love CamelBak Swirl bottles. Over the last five years I've bought about eight 1 liter bottles of CamelBak Eddy and used them every day. They take me everywhere (kayaking, hiking, horseback riding, napping, work, activities, etc.) and they're pretty reliable - not perfect, but definitely good. there are so many. My old stash was warped, leaking and moldy with use and mishandling so I ended up investing in two new bottles. I thought they were the exact same Eddy bottles I've…
